Too late! Bidding is over! The game between Connecticut and St. John’s is part of the “Pink Zone” initiative undertaken by Nike in support of the Kay Yow/WBCA Fund to raise funding for scientific research and to assist the underserved in an the fight against women’s cancers. As part of the battle to raise money to help find a cure for cancer, three authentic UConn Women’s Basketball game jerseys, donated by Nike and identical to the ones worn tonight by the Huskies, will be autographed by each member of the UConn women’s basketball program and auctioned off to the highest bidders with 100% of the proceeds directed to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund. The bidding for the three game jerseys will be conducted on-line auction at ebay and lasts until Feb. 20th.

Auriemma’s game-worn ties to be auctioned for the final nine games of the regular season.

University of Connecticut women’s basketball head coach Geno Auriemma’s game-worn ties from the final nine games of the regular season, beginning with the Tuesday, Feb. 2 vs. West Virginia, will be auctioned. All proceeds will benefit the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.

The ties will be auctioned off on EBay, starting at the beginning of each game. Each individual game’s auction will last one week after the conclusion of each contest.

All ties up for auction were donated by Mitchell’s of Westport.
